Skyfield Terms of Service

Last updated: 13 June 2026

By using Skyfield, a weather app made by Atsumi Labs LLC, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

The app

Skyfield shows weather forecasts, current conditions, radar, and alerts using data from the U.S. National Weather Service and other public weather services. It is provided for general informational use.

Not for life-safety decisions

Skyfield is provided “as is” and is not an official source of weather warnings. Weather data can be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate, and service may be interrupted. Do not rely on Skyfield alone for decisions affecting safety, property, or life. For official warnings and emergency guidance, always consult the National Weather Service (weather.gov), local authorities, and emergency broadcasts.

Acceptable use

No warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Atsumi Labs LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any decision made in reliance on the app, arising from your use of Skyfield. Where the app is provided free of charge, our total liability is limited accordingly.

Changes & availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue Skyfield at any time, and may update these Terms; when we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
